On Sunday, the extraordinary cast of CIRCUS 1903 welcomed 270 residents, staff, board members, friends and family from The Shade Tree – a shelter and resource for women, children and their pets who are victims of domestic abuse – to experience the all-new production at Paris Las Vegas. Sponsored jointly by co-producing entities Red Mercury Entertainment and Caesars Entertainment, the group was treated to an exciting and stress-free afternoon on the town, complete with private transportation from the Downtown Las Vegas shelter to the center-Strip property for the thrilling matinee performance, featuring jaw-dropping acrobatics and side-splitting comedy. Following the performance, the group took part in an exclusive onstage meet and greet with the cast before heading down The Strip for dinner at Fatburger.
“CIRCUS 1903 is a captivating production that truly takes you to another time and place,” shared Stacey Lockhart, executive director of The Shade Tree. “These incredible women and children from our shelter have been through so much, so an experience like this was just what they needed and is greatly appreciated. Seeing the children’s eyes light up, the smiles on their faces and hearing the pure enjoyment in their laughter made my day and makes me appreciate everything Red Mercury Entertainment and Caesars does on behalf of The Shade Tree even more. I can’t thank them enough for all they do.”
“Having a close family member that suffered years of abuse, makes it all the more meaningful to be able to produce events like this,” said Darin Feinstein, owner of Red Mercury Entertainment and the Las Vegas Strip’s Fatburger franchise location. “The experience we gave them will not cure the problems these women and children suffered at the hands of abusive people, but hopefully brightened their day while they are dealing with the tragic circumstances they have been forced into.”
Also in attendance of the performance were celebrated Las Vegas entertainers Vinnie Favorito and David Copperfield.
